You can’t beat a classic pie filling which is based on slow- cooked braised beef and thick rich gravy. It's almost rude to call this our “regular” steak pie but we know from past experience that our Splendid Steak Pie will be another best seller. 

It is a simple recipe but the secret is the quality of the cubes of tender beef and the time taken to gently cook the meat through as the juices flow. 

The longer it takes, the better the taste gets. You don’t need gravy but some steam baby potatoes and button mushrooms smothered in butter sets the dish off perfectly.
