Steak & Stilton Family Pie
Our family pies are a generous 1.2kg in weight, enough to serve 6-8 hungry people. This huge pie is inspired by the delicious steak and stilton dinner much loved by many. Nothing beats supremely tender melt in your mouth beef steak with the rich piquancy of creamy blue cheese. We decided to combine these two favourites and make a much bigger offering fit for any picnic or elegant dinner. Remember to brush the frozen pie with beaten egg to get the fabulous golden brown pastry.

Instructions: Oven from frozen: 160C //Gas mark 3 Place the pie in its foil on a baking tray in the centre of a pre-heated oven for 35-45 minutes, until pastry is golden brown. Allow to stand for 2 minutes before serving. For best result glaze with egg or milk before baking.
